ABOUT RAMEZ
Ramez is a Certified Public Accountant and tax partner at Schulman Lobel LLP. With a career spanning over 24 years at some of the most respected accounting firms in New Jersey and New York. His in-depth understanding of complex international tax laws is sought out by clients involved in trusts and estates, partnerships, C and S corporations, and not-for profit organizations.
His working knowledge of tax compliance and planning matters has been especially useful to clients in the areas of gift, trusts and estates, and international tax matters for non-U.S. clients who conduct business in the U.S. or invest in U.S. real estate, and U.S. clients who own foreign assets or business entities, or are beneficiaries of foreign trusts.
Education & Licenses
Receiving his BA in Accounting at Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt, Ramez then earned his CPA where he was awarded the Illinois CPA Society Excel Award for outstanding achievement in the CPA Exam —ranking among the top 3% in the nation.
He received his Master of Accountancy in Taxation from the Rutgers Business School at Rutgers University. Here he was awarded Tax Executives Institute’s Certificate of Achievement for outstanding performance.
He holds his CPA License in New Jersey.

Ramez is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Illinois CPA Society, and the New Jersey Society of CPAs.
His article “GRATs & GRUTs, Now Before It’s Too Late”, was published in Amper’s The Review newsletter and in The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel.
